Default Is this normal? I found it wierd.....

I have a 95 GT auto that is relatively stock. I was driving yesterday off a red light going about 15-20mph. Then I decided to punch it and spun the tires pretty bad on a dry road. No my tires aren't bald I still have the snow tires on they have about 90% tread!!!

Just wondering if this happens to anyone else.

It's happened before, I don't mind it because it makes me feel like I have more power than I actually do.

Couple of things:
1. Bold tires provide more traction due to increased surface area (slicks).
2. Winter tires won't have a lot of traction in warm whether.
3. The stock rear suspensions sucks at transferring torque and using it to plant the tires.
