Default Have a question

I have had my GT for 4 months now and ready to start getting some performance things done. (Just not sure were to start)

If anyone could offer tru solutions on the best route to go from start that would be great. I have an H pipe but nothing else as of yet.

You should go with the FRPP brand...the Motive gears don't come with an installation kit...the Ford one's do, so it's close in price...when they install them you need them to give you a new pinion bearing cause the stock one usually gets damaged during the install. After that you need a chip or speedcal to fix the speedometer.

frpp come with the shims you need. the bearing wont get damaged if you use the right bearing puller. if your car has low miles then get the frpp 410's and take to a tranny shop somewhere and have it installed. install cost are usually between 150-250. but there are some ppl that will gloat and say they only payed 100 or even lower in some cases.

you will need something to correct your speedo. either a speed cal or some kind of a tuner or chip.

Speedcals

Brother's Performance

http://www.brothersperformance.com/s...ospeedcal.html

Dallas Mustang

http://www.dallasmustang.com/index.mvc?p=9910

I got the one from Brother's becuase I am like 70 miles from them and I got impatient and didn't want to pay shipping...works fine though.
