Default Can't wait to get my new Auto shifter

Hey, new to the forums here but not new to mustangs. Just ordered my Imitator shifter for my 06 gt. Really excited about getting it in, anybody else have one yet with any install tips? Here is a pic.

Can't seem to attach pics for some reason, here is a link to photobucket

The guy who makes those posts on allfordmustangs, right?

In regards to install tips, I can definitively tell you that none of us with auto S197's on this site have that, unless they have installed it recently and have failed to tell anyone about it.

I'm going to say that I'm not a big fan of that shifter. It makes it look like a manual and I'm not a fan of masking the car for something it is not. I'll keep being proud of my automatic and keep my stock shifter handle.

I think those are only made for 05-09 automatic Mustangs, being as how we have a lack of shifter handles and accessories available, but I could be wrong.

I think it would great if it wasn't for that boot. Definitely makes it look like you're trying to cover up the fact that it's an auto.
