When installing the mach 1 chin spoiler is it supposed to be flush with the side of the bumper in front of the wheel then be a little behind the bumper in the front or is it supposed to be flush on the front a have a little gap on the sides?

I asked a question similar to this a not to long ago, and in the picture one of the guys sent me he had his flush with the front and a gap at the wheels. When I had mine on my old stang I put flush with the wheels and left a gap at the front. Eather way no one will notice the gaps.

You sort of have a choice. I had one of these once. I forget how I had it, but I looked at a Mach and did it the same way.

my friend has a mach and i looked at his...
it's not completely flush with the fenderwells there is a small gap maybe a 1/4 of an inch on each side and about the same in the front.

i flushed mine with the front bumper, and left the gap at the fenderwells i just like the way it looked better.

just have a couple friends come over and hold it up for you and see how you like it. the bolt it up...either way your going to have a small gap.

i still can't figure out why ford just didn't make the damn thing fit right? :tard:

Thanks guys, I mounted it flush with the fender and it looks pretty good...I'm not sure why they didn't just make it longer but oh well.
