How easy is it to swap the tranny
I possibly found a GT that I like, but its an automatic.
After I learned how to drive a stick, I swore to never get an automatic again haha.
So does it cost a ton of money to do a swap and how hard/easy would it be? Thanks much.

If you've never done a trans swap before, I encourage you do it with guidance. A shop will cost you a fortune for a trans swap no matter where you are, so if you can avoid it, I would. But that's me. I've never put an auto in a manual, so I can't tell you how hard that is. Autos to autos are REALLY easy. Manuals are fairly simple too, just a couple more steps to follow. Again, if you have someone who can assist you, I encourage it.

Yeah same here, I rarely ever drive my SUV because it's an automatic. I would just wait until you find another GT that's a manual. I'm looking for a newer GT and not getting any luck.

I was thinking the same thing, but I would NEVER drive buy an Automatic and I don't really want to even drive them.

i use to feel the same way about going to an auto, but after about 9 months of driving one, then hopping into a manual you feel different, the manual is very nice and fun (i want one again) but the auto is still fun, and you have an extra hand to umm... lets say take a drink of water while driving,

It all comes down to what you can find the parts for. If you can do the labor, the biggest expense will be the transmission itself. That year would of come with a 3650. You'll have to find a clutch pedal assembly, its probably the hardest part to switch out, working under the dash sucks. The rest is pretty much just buying parts and putting them on. But you'll have to do something with the drive shaft, I'm pretty sure the 3650 has a 31 spline output shaft like the T45. You'll also have to get a tune if you want the check engine light to go out.

not at all, I found a 2001 Cobra with a full saleen body kit and the old cobra bumpers for 9,999 it was torch red with only 67,000 miles...

Oh nice. Well it seems like theres not too many Cobras here in Denver, so when you can find one around 10k then you just gotta try and go after it.
