Default is this a good plan for around $8k

i heard through this guy in this mustang club im inthat kauffman can bore my engine 30 over and put in a cobra crank with some forged internals for a supercharger application for $4k. it seems like a good deal to me since i want to build up a motor to handle more the 12 psi. im stuck on the supercharger KB is out of the picture since that will cost too much and i know a procharger distrubutor that can get a d1r kit cheap, paxton is starting to look better thenthe procharger set up. i was also told by my roommate that some shop in socal can send a 4.6 long block with forged internals and better pumps for $3k, this is looking good but wont be as much power as the 4.8. the other plus side is that i keep my stock block with most of the components left to resell on ebay for a few hundred bucks. that few hundred bucks will go towards the 4r-70w tranny with my aod-e valve body and a differential to strengthen the rear end cant forget the 31 splines. i really dont have to worry about labor because i will do most of the work my self at the base hobby shop they have the lifts and tools i need to get the work done. im confident enough to install the engine, supercharger, tranny, diff, and axles. have i been misinformed on the costs of all these applications? any insight
