Default 05-08 Mustang Dash Deck

New to the boards and looking for some advice. The dash has a rattle from what appears to be behind or above the glove compartment. I am debating taking off the deck that sits on top of the dash. Was wondering if anyone has done that before?? Also, might wrap the deck in black leather if I remove it. Any thoughts??
Thanks

I got a similar problem I got a vibrating noise somewhere under the dash but it only shows up after 80+ MPH, although I never asked the dealer.... didn't think it was a good thing telling them I take my car over 80 that often...
