Default Is it the blinker switch?

Last year I had a problem with my windshield wipers randomly turning on, but it was usually when I used my blinker. And it only happened in cold weather. Now it does it all of the time when I use the blinker OR turn the steering wheel. I have no idea why turning the steering wheel would trigger the wipers to rotate but it seems like it does. So am I needing an entire new switch/arm? Electrical problems **** me off.

Yea Kevin thats what it sounds like. You will have to replace the multi-funtion switch. Its not hard to do. Helpful hint, use the factory OEM part. Good Luck

Well I cleaned and greased the contacts, but it still does it. My brother noticed one of the wires (The blue one I guess) is crimped, so he wants to pull the switch out and rewire it.

Your car is possessed, you just need an exorcism!! A priest and some holy water and she'll work just fine. You'll have to name her Linda now.
