Default throttle body issue?

just got a 92 LX 5.0 with a bunch of engine mods. Problem I am having is when you go to push the pedal to accelerate its hard to push and when you finally push it hard enough it goes down real fast causing the car to jerk. Its hard to drive it smooth this way. I think its a problem with the edlebrock throttle body. Its not the throttle cable cause when the car is off the pedal works real smooth. Any Ideas???

Lube the cable and throttle body inside and out and outside on the spring setup with WD40 or the like.

Of course you can spray some wd40 in there. I would hit the blades shaft on the inside is what I am talking about.

Glad I could help. That's what happens to a lot of cars if they sit for awhile.
