Clutch WTF??!?!?!

Angry Clutch WTF??!?!?!

So i decide to go get some ice cream (mmmmm) I do the normal, start my car, take e-brake off, reverse, ease off the clutch, well, for some reason the clutch pedal would come back VERY slowly and even though i was in gear it wouldnt engage! and it was grnding a lil....wtf is this???? it lasted like 30 seconds, then it went back to normal, I didnt leave because I didnt want to be stuck in the middle of a highway on friday night...what coulve happened, is it save to drive again do I need a new clutch? anyone heard of this b4?!

Sounds like a hydraulic problem of some kind. Not sure on that one.

You have a aftermarket shifter right?
might be a problem there....
nah dude my shifter engauged fine, it was somethign with my clutch/clutch pedal

Could it be a problem with the clutch itself? Maybe the pressure plate or throw out bearing? Had this happen to me on a 300zx only the pedal never came back up... probably just need to do something with the clutch replace it or something <shrug>

this happen too my 95 GT. as i pressed the clutch it started making a loud grinding noise. i parked to see wut was wrong. everytime i pressed the clutch pedal it would grind and for some reason the car would shake bit more than usual. happen to be that my throwout bearings went bad. thats wut i could tell u from wut u have described.

it only grinded a little when the car moved, it felt like the clucth was almost, stuck, kinda

Is that the game its from? My wife and I were talking about it but forgot to ask which one.

Did you get a clutch adj and cable recently?

Have you checked under the dash to see if there is anything that could be binding the quadrant. Make sure it didnt get stuck on the floor mat. Where were you going for Ice Cream have you tried Cold Stone.

Does the clutch feel different as in pressure? Is it lighter than normal? Heavier? Check your cable for wear or see if it might be binding on something.

COLD STONE!!! I work there by the way...anyways to quit hijacking. Check to see about the clutch cable. Maybe it popped or something is keeping it from moving...hope you get it fixed.
