Default Car won't start

Got up this morning to go to work and my car won't start. It will crank over, but will not fire. It just sputters when trying to start it. Tried holding the gas pedal down and nothing. I just put a new fuel pump, filter, injectors, and plugs in it less than 3000 miles ago when I installed the charger. Don't know if I have fuel pressure as I don't have my gauge yet. Any ideas?

Honestly, I was in such a panic to get the car started so I could get to work that I didn't even pay attention.

you can listen for the fuel pump you should be able to hear a humm. make sure everything (ie radio, a/c, blinkers) is off so the will be no noise. turn the key to on without turning it far enough to crank the engine. when the key moves into the on position you should hear the fuel pump humming for a second or so. if your still not sure unhook the fuel filter then turn the key if gas shoots out your pump is working. if nothing shoots out your pump is not kicking on. i guess you checked the fuses?

i cant believe im the first one suggesting this

did you check your fuel pump cutoff switch located behind the drivers side tail light behind the upholstery?

get back there and press the red button, see if that helps. also, if that is the case you should be throwing a code for it

Fuses look good, can hear the fuel pump kick in, and the cutoff switch idea was no good. Still does not start.

Start with the basics first, we know were getting the fuel pump to come on. Now is it getting spark is the next question. I would pull a coil and plug hook the coil back up to the wiring and try to start the car and see if there is spark going.

not necessarily, when i got in an accident last year the fuel cutoff engaged but i wasn't throwing a code. it ran for ~2 minutes before it just choked and died.

Update: I just got home, and since I don't have a garage and it's dark, I couldn't work on the car. So I just checked some other fuses and relays (for the ignition components) and decided to try and fire the car up and it fired. I had to give it some gas when cranking but it fired and ran for about 30-45 seconds till I decided to shut it off and try and restart it. But to no avail. it did not start back up.

I'd check the TPS voltage and the IAC.

It must be possesed. I got it to start this morning with a little effort again, and drove it to work with no problems. Then when I just went to lunch a little bit ago, it started up like nothing was wrong

your IAC is probably the culprit. i had some hard starts a long time ago and at times the car would fire and just die right away and wouldnt start afterwards.

check your piping and hose clamps around the supercharger could have a loose connection. your car may appear that its driving fine but its really not. do you have a wideband hooked up at all?

wow jack. you own a car for 4 years and you dont know that 99+ mustang had no distributors...lol

i would check the plug just in case to see if theyre fouled. also, check your iac and pcv. and also, check your tps voltage.
