Are you running a x-pipe w/ it? X-pipes are know to be raspy w/ higher rpms and h-pipes more muscle-car sounding.

ok guys, it sounds like i might need to change from x-pipe back to h-pipe huh ? will that hurt any hp/rwt/performance if i decide to go back, i mean that dam raspy noise sounds like "bad gas" that clattering noise when i put my foot in it. ( keep in mind) this is my grocery car & to & fro work car.

( MY ONLY CAR. LOL )

x pipe is supposed to give you more hp and h pipes give you more torque but either way its only 1-2 hp so you wont really feel a difference

ok, so do you agree, that the h-pipe will help the clatter noise. If just 1 to 2 hp loss, i can deal with that( i think) lol. Maybe i just need to deal with it a bit longer, get used to it i suppose. I can tell i'm gonna learn alot from this board. I would like to post a pic of my car like some of yall do, to where it shows in my threads / replys etc:

a catted pipe would really cut down on the raspiness but an h will def be better than an x, h pipes put out a nice deep tone
