Default Exhaust Question

So currently on my mustang I have Flowmaster 40s true dual exhaust with the stock mid pipe (mines a y grrr) and I've been wanting to get an aftermarket mid pipe, preferably the MAC O/R H Pipe. Now I also want to get some MAC Longtube headers, but I'm not totally sure if they're the best for this type of setup mainly b/c others have said otherwise. I only want to get a better sound right now, no performance. Would I be fine with this setup?

well if u go with any aftermarket exhaust parts ur gonna free up a little bit of HP
but nothing wrong with that
if i had recomend headers i would say BBK Longtubes (if u want longtubes) but thats just me i like mine
if ur doing them yourself its gonna be kinda hard Longtubes can be tricky I hear
I like BBK Products but everyone has there own preference!!!

Don't get long tubes for sound. It's almost as bad as getting cams for the "sound." As for mid-pipes, what kind of sound you want? Mellow gurgling like a muscle car or a smooth growl? For the first, stick w/ an H, the latter, an X.
