Default Heating problems

So this morning was the first cold morning I have had so far and I tried to use my heater after the engine temp got to a normal level the problem is I only got about 30 seconds of heat before it stopped blowing heat and was just blowing normal air so I shut off the heater and waited for a bit turned the heat back on and got another 30 seconds or so what does this sound like to you guys I have my opinion but I want a second one

Sounds like the coolant flow to the heater core is restricted. This could mean the heater hoses are kinked or clogged or the heater core is clogged up and needs replacing.

Check out the color of your coolant... Make sure it's not oily or smells like gas/exhaust (sign of leaking headgasket). Could be as simple as some trapped air and the cooling system needs burped. Could be, like mentioned above, a clogged or blocked off heater core.

Heater core is a pain in the butt to do...not real difficult, just a pain. I would def check coolant and maybe have a good flush done on the system first.
