Default Mustang Clutch Adjuster Break

hey evreyone im new here. and was wondering if i could find any help. i have a 2000 mustang GT and put a spec Stage 1 on. bought the spec flywheel evreything me and my brother put a couple clutches on other mustangs and did a good job. but in my case the clutch is awesome but very difficult to drive around. now what keeps happening is the car will work for about 2 weeks then the clutch adjuster breaks the teeth where stripped. this is alot of stress and it cant be the spring rate im thinking its the clutch fork the way its positioned. (Brother is a GM certified Technician i think thats my problem right thier haha)
but any help would be deeply appriciated

Get rid of the crappy plastic quadrant and get a nice Aluminum one w/ a topside/firewall adjust. I suggest going w/ the Maximum Motorsports set.

I had the same problem my spec stage 2 stripped the stock adjuster a few months after installing it. I went with the Steeda firewall adjuster and 3 hook clutch quadrant and its been pretty good so far. Though I liked the stock setup just fine till it broke on me. Also so you know the stock cable is much better then the aftermarket ones so dont go get an adjustable cable.
