I am goin 2 purchase the excalibrator 2 and i was wondering how hard they are to operate i have never used a tuner b4 any help pleazzzzzz

and should i purchase any additional tunes or what

sorry i suck im a newb wit this lol

They are simple. You just plug it in fallow what it says on the screen and go. It also comes with great instructions so there isnt anything you need to worry about.

As for additional tunes, it depends on what you want and who you get it from. if you just get a basic Xcal and have alot of mods you need a custom tune, like cams,nitrous,blower,lot sof bolt ons,etc..... Or you can just get it with a custom tune allready on it.

Get the PRP too, then you can change your tunes yourself.....it rules at the track. I changed my tune 17 times at the NMRA Michigan event.sometimes sitting in staging ..lol

Too bad Mustang tuning doesn't offer the PRP upgrade and an Innovative LM1 or something. I wonder if Bob could get a hold of something like that. I'd buy it.
