Default license platet???

ok so hear is the deal when i got my car i took off that dealer plate bracket and i put on a nice crome one. but on my stang only the top holes are used. so the bottom ones are not to be found. so i lived with it for a wile but every time i close my trunk my plate and the bracket bounce off of each other and make a really anoying noise. so i wanted to know what u guys did abou that on ur cars.

thanks,
tristan

p.s. i found a set of screws and caps that say ford on them for the plate but the bottom ones are just for drilling directly into the trunk lid.

some double sided tape might work . just my opinion, it's small and thin enough that no one could tell it's there...

I used some clear silicone in between the plate and bracket, worked great.
