so, i know a guy that is putting a terminator drive line (motor/blower, tranny, IRS), gauge cluster and compter as well into a 99 GT. my question is, the 99 has about 80k miles and the cobra has about 30k miles.

now if memory serves me correctly, if you were to do the swap, the odometer should show what the terminator miles were previously to the swap.

my question is how would you get the cluster/computer to read what the 99 had at time of swap. if there is no way, what does the state do? issue a rebuilt title/salvage title?

 

mileage is not changeable because its part of the cluster. As for the title dont worry about it.

 

wont they say that the car's mileage was tampered with then?
