Default Cam swaps in a pushrod motor are not fun

Do not do them if your freinds suck at cars and basicly rely on you 100% for everything. this has been the most annoying friday and saturday in my life. Never again will i help these ******** out.

i would rather do a swap on a mod motor any day. Half of the damn motor is covered by the dash and firewall. this ****ing camaro sucks NEVER again damn you pushrods to hell.

I would at least pay you, since i would be saving big time on a install from a shop. Wish i knew a suc.... i mean friend like you. LOL

thatswhy dude. nothinis easy on a camaro. those thing sit WAYYYYY back in the firewall.

Ha ha ha I laugh at everytime my friend has to do regular maintenence on his car he has to take apart half the damn thing to get something done......I feel your pain

Thought you were talking about a 5.0. I was like, WHAT?! LOL yes, the lt1 engines are a beeotch but the cam swaps on the ls1's are supposedly a cake walk.

no its not a lt1 is a v6 camaro, its a freind of mine it was a pain to do but the results were worth it. It sounds like a v8 till about 2,500 then you can tell, but thats not the good, the good part is the awsome amount of extra power it picked up. He is running the largest cam they make for it.

dont confuse fast with peppy its still not fast. runs low 14's.

He should of done a little head and upper/lower intake work and it would be a little quicker.

i told him he should of spend the money on a wet kit, but like most people he is scared of nitrous.

I was scared untill my first few sprays..heh now the juice rules.

i got another cam swap to do next weekend. Its a good thing i get a some bucks for doing this stuff.

If for instance I bring over so cams, pistons and heads so how much you gonna charge me?

pistons and heads you know that means the motor has to come out right? aka gay. i wouldn not do that i dont care how much someone is willing to pay. You bring over some cams i could help ya out for some extra cash.
