Default exhaust question

alright, to make a long story short, two years ago i had some dumbass shop install dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and no crossover (i have a 6) well the damn exhaust hanger on the right side keeps breaking and i moved 1000+ miles away from the shop.. so now i want to replace a lot with my friend in his shop but basically i wanted to take his old h pipe (off his mach 1) and then go no mufflers right out the side .. my questions are will his h pipe bolt up to my headers? and then will i be alright going with out mufflers and just going mid pipe back?

If they are stock or shorties i'm thinking no but not sure, if they are LT's definately not. And i think the sixer will sound like **** with no mufflers IMO.

they make v6 midpipes that bolt up to the v6 headers thats what I meant. A GT midpipe won't bolt right up with a v6 header unless they have changed them but thats how it always use to be

The mod motor is alot wider then the v6, thus it will not bolt up.

also, would it be worth it to just keep my mid "section" the way it is (no crossover but catted) and then go no mufflers out the side? I really hate having to reweld the hanger as much as i do and i like the idea of side exhaust

thats fine, but its gonna sound pretty bad without mufflers. The v6 sounds pretty awful unless its kept tame.
