the motherf*ckers never retract(sp?) back in. i have to push them in.

very common. Theres always been a TSB on those where you can bring it in to get it fixed

Technical Service Bulletins its basically like a list of recalls almost. Ford always use to have to fix the belts because its a safety issue. For an 01 mustang the front seatbelt retractor issue is service bulletin number 042421. I would assume this still have to fix those Randy would probably know that detail

Yep, mine used to do that. i got new ones and they are guaranteed to not break again.

am i hearing that if i go to ford they have to fix that free of charge? because i hate my seat belts just hanging there

2000-04. Ford calls it: 151300 seat belts:front:retractor

should. They always use to because of safety, I would assume they still have to because some are so bad your basically not even wearing a seatbelt

Well I'm going to the Ford dealer soon to see if they can replace mine. Mine will retract about half the time.

mine dont even retract! you just slap them on you and try to tighen them yourself then when you take them off they just hang there beside the door and whatever.. i hate em.

Do you need warranty for this? I just got this problem about a couple of month ago but my warranty expired in '06
