My wife bought an 05 Roush. It came with standard 17 inch GT wheels. I'd like to put on FR500s Chrome Wheels. Ford says they won't work with an 05 due to the off set but didn't seem sure what would fit. Does anyone have any experience with 05s and wheels?

I am not sure on 9 inch or 10 inch once I find out what will fit. I know local dealers are putting 20s on some of the new GTs.

Thats strange A Roush should come with Roush wheels,may you post a pic so we can see this? 18s are fine but will look better with something bigger.

 

Ive seen one the same way. Maybe roush is just going crazy, or just being cheap...Just wait a while, Im sure they will come out with the FR500s for the 05's soon, just like the bullitts and the other wheels.

 

Here a couple pics of Jack when the boss brought it home. She gave up her 66 GT Convertible for this one! As far as the wheels it all depends on what Roush package you get. I think the 05s are so hot they did a lot of body kits and interior upgrades just to get them on the street.

I think chrome fr500s in an 18 inch would look great on this.

Wow that looks awesome, I really like what they did with the rear. The wheels are the only thing that look out of place really bad choice, Im surprised about that as they have never used stock GT wheels. I would say get Roush wheels to keep it original to Roush.

 

I checked the web site and I think Jack wants something like $675 a wheel for the 18 inch Roush wheels. My wife said does that include tires!!!

I think with her car the 18 inch FR500s would make it look a lot like the 07 Cobra concept.
