Default Squeaky brakes

Alright so I changed my pads for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago, and replaced all of the little clips and retainers as well, did everything right, compressed the caliper pistons and put a generous amount of that blue pad-grease on the pads. For the first week everything was good, not one squeak during hard brakes, but it rained once and now whenever I have a medium-hard brake it squeaks..nothing bad but enough to annoy me. I read that this is normal when installing new pads, and it should go away after the pads wear in..is this true?

From what I have experience with new pads, every time I have installed new ones, they squeek for a while and then stop.
