Default rearend swap

i want to swap a 8.8 into my rear. Can i swap the rear end without having to change the driveshaft or do i have to.
And what would be some other things i would need?

The differential and axles pretty much bolt in IIRC..I'm planning on doing an 8.8" swap too, but need to find out which fords have those exactly..besides GTs, because those are never in junkyard. ever.

If you go to the junkyard and grab one you can literally unbolt yours and bolt in an 8.8 rear end. I'm not 100% on if the rear flange has to be swapped out on your driveshaft. From what I remember i don't think you have to swap that rear flange.
