right now i have just a mac cat back and kn intake...what mod do you think i should do next...I'm thinking about going with the mac prochamber

gears. will be the best seat of the pants difference. i would go 4.10's although most people say 3.73 for 5 speed. people always say dont fear the gear. and i was one who did, i have 02 with auto went with 4.10 wish i would of went 4.30. nitrous is also a great mod if done right and with shot of 75 to 100 it is perfectly safe. good luck.

 

This has nothing to do with mod motor tech. This belongs in general tech.

 

Depending on how much you want to spend, a prochamber will really open the exhaust and make the tone quite a bit louder, but really won't do much in terms of performance. Gears are the best bang for the buck mod, but they are a little more expensive. I spent about $625 for my gears, oil, all new bearings, and install. I also think a new short throw shifter would be a great next mod. Steeda Tri-ax is what I have and I love it, but I've heard great things about the MGW as well, my brother loves it on his Mach 1.
