you know you have to buy a shaker system then also right? unless you want the famous water induction system.

I bagged my carbon fiber Mach 1 hood from ebay for 675 shipped. Well, i got 3 of them. it was a pain in the ***. the first one had a big flaw in it, the 2nd one was destroyed by shipping. 3rd times the charm.

when buying a hood, if you buy a new one yer gonna have to have it painted.. I dont know if yer a carbon fiber fan, but the regular mach 1 hoods run abour 250 bucks. add 150 for shipping, and yer 400. another 250+ for paint and yer sitting around the price of a carbon fiber hood that doesent require painting if you like how they look.

my total cost for the shaker was 675 for the hood, plus 695 for an FRPP shaker, airtube, and modified bracked to fit it on a 2 valve.

CDC makes shaker kits that work with your existing hood, you just cut a hole in it and put the hood applique on which runs down the front center of the hood, they look pretty good. they run about 800 i think.

also, dont forget the power of craigslist. it is not too uncommon to see aftermarket or stock hoods on there for a couple hundred.

not really no though sometimes the slots where the fogs are supposed to be on the gt have little plastic bars (for lack of a better word) over them

YES.

the V6 have the plastic grills running through the Foglight holes.

If the V6 is cheaper, get that. If they are the same cost and you want foglights, go with the V8 or you will have to cut out the plastic grills.

just cut the bars especially if the bumper is in good condition it is stupid to pay for a whole new bumper when the only difference is plastic bars that can be cut out in less than 5min

haha, I cut out my bars, it would be rediculous to buy a GT front bumper when the V6 is the same, infact they give you more plastic for your money...haha.

i don't think you will have a stang after court lol

the shaker system you can get from many places i think AM even sells it as for the hood probably ebay. The whole thing is going to cost a couple grand with paint and everything. Also its basically all show so you gotta decide if you really want to spend that much money on something thats just for looks.
