Default rear end

does anybody know if i can remove the rear end balancer and not have any problems?

If you are talking about the weight hanging on the diff, then yes. This weight is to tone down normal vibrations from the rear axle so you cant feel them in the drivers seat. I have had mine off for 9K and havent felt a thing.

It weighs about 6-8 lbs?and it sits under the rear universal joint on the differential.Use two shorter bolts to secure the aluminum plate on the top of the differential.I removed mine after it was damaged with no adverse effects.

I'd think that if you get an aluminum balanced driveshaft, It wouldn't serve any purpose at all.

already got the al. driveshaft. maybe i will try to take it off.
