Default Cruise Control

I have had my 03GT for some time now (coming up on two years this feb) and there has always been one thing that bugged me a bit. My cruise control works perfectly fine (I recently found out I can hit "resume+setaccel" to speed up while remaining in CC) and when I turn the car on and all of the idiot lights turn o one says "cruise". However whenever I turn cruise control on, there is no light to tell me it is on!? Does anyone else have this "problem" or is there a missing relay somewhere in my cluster/steering wheel?
