o2 sensor...
I bought my car with shorty headers, o/r x pipe, and mil eliminators. so that mean the guy before me most likely threw away the actual sensor that would plug into the headers. But im not sure, i have to check and see if they are up in the shorty headers though. so here is my dilema...
Should i just keep the eliminators or throw on the o2 sensors and go with the extenders? Any REAL SIGNIFICANT differance between the two. I was told that the sensors would help with emissions if i put them back in..true?

The front O2 sensors are not the ones that you would plug a MIL into those actully read the cars a/f ratio. Its the rear O2 sensors on the x-pipe you have that would have the MILs on them and plugged into the stock o2 sensors.
I'm putting in long tube headers and a catted H. So the actual sensor will plug into the H pipe, so if i have the MIL's now, then the sensor isnt "gone"? Would the sensor be in the x pipe or on the end of the MIL's?
your o2 sensors will be at the collector of the long tubes once you have them installed. These are the ones that read the a/f raito. The ones in your mid pipe are there to make sure the cats are working.
ok so will the sensors in the header reach from shorties to the long tubes? So the mid pipe is what gets the eliminators/extenders?

Yeppers, you can lengthen the stock 02 sensors wires if you know how to do so. its very easy just 5 wires you have to cut and add some length too.
