Default ABS/Traction Control Light

Recently my ABS light and my Traction Control is turned off at the same time. The ABS light will light up first, then the Traction Control button will light up...(leaving the traction control stuck off). I try to turn the Traction Control back on, but it won't. Sometime this will happen for only a few minutes, then the ABS light will go off and my Traction Control with turn back on. But, sometime this can last for hours. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it an easy fix or is there something major going wrong?

see the solution I posted in the other thread. If it's intermittent then the failure is almost certainly dirty exciter wheels or sensor spuds. Makey cleany.

If both lights are one, then it's definately a speed sensor. 1 speed sensor will keep both from working properly.

Look behind your rotors for a toothed wheel and the sensor is cylindrical in shape and is placed very close to the toothed wheel.
