Default Heated PCV valves.

As most of you know I've been refining my PCV oil/air separator kit. I've really been bothered by the stock setup. Well, after a good whack of research, I've found out some things:

Ford was having problems with PCV icing in extremely cold climates so instead of making a special cold-weather pack with heated PCV as part of it and distributing that only to places that see such temps (upper Canada and the north friggin pole) they made it pretty much standard.

So here's the gist: The heating fucntion is not necessary unless you're subject to driving your mustang on ice. That being the case, I think there's a better solution for the PCV setup on our cars (at least those that have warmer climates). I've got a little more work on the latest prototype but it looks like I'll have a replacement for not just the PCV side but I'm going to do some work on the breather side too. See if I can't get rid of all the damned little black pipes on top of the motor.

Next up is the IAC tube. I really want to make those all AN line too.

I just removed the heated valve and the pigtail. Then I put in a pcv valve from an 03/04 cobra, they are unheated.....

no CEL's for either of you? that would greatly simplify things.
