Default Shift ***** are they universal?

Are they universal would they work on any manual car? Does anyone know the threaded insert size and where I can buy them?

If your wondering I plan on making a custom shift ****.

Does any one know of any plastic making materials so I can mold some plastic?

I can tell you that 05+ Mustang pattern is different from 96-04. I dont know the difference between any other vehicles...

What type molding are you capable of.? you want strength so nylon 6/6 would be strong enough. Polypropolene (plastic) probably wouldn't hold up for very long. Anyway to get the thread size (I think it is 1/2 18) but it may be fine thread. Measure the O.D. of the threads then count how may threads there are.. Then for an insert, just see what 1/2 18 ID matches with for your available inserts. They have all sizes. You just want make sure your thread sizes are right.. Calipers will help. Plus some maching skills..
