Default Brake Heat/Chirping

My front brakes have been chirping, are excessively hot, and are putting out enough brake dust to blacken the rims within 2 weeks. I assumed brake pads were getting worn, so I picked some up only to find out nothing was wrong with the originals. Spinning the tire while raised is a fight. It's like the pads are clamped down. I loosened them up and drove for awhile, but within 3 or 4 weeks they started chirping again. Just wondering if this is an easy to fix problem, or if I might have to take it in to have the calipers replaced.

calipers could be sticking too. Might be time to replace those, and just spend 400 bucks on the whole cobra front brake kit.

That's what I was afraid of. I might do a brake flush first and cross my fingers. I'd hate to dip into the Gear/Tuner fund.

Being able to stop a modified mustang on a dime is a must. If your gonna add power and quickness, you'll sleep better at night knowing that your brake set-up is solid and dependable. Thats definitely worth dipping into the gear/tuner fund.

You can take them off clean tehm up and relube the slides etc.. this will most of the time fix the problem of sticking calipers.
