clutch install questions
I have heard of people saying that if you have clutch chatter after putting in a new clutch....that the problem resulted from either a faulty clutch or a bad installation.
With that said....I can understand a faulty clutch causing problems but....
Could someone tell me how many different ways there is to install a clutch?
I mean its either flywheel side or pressure plate side. It doesn't take a rocket scientist! Is there like a special spline that you have to line up?....I mean come on....It doesn't take black magic to install a clutch....
Some one please tell me how you screw up a clutch install!

You don't resurface the flywheel or pressure plate, you only replace the pressure plate and flywheel but not the disc, you didn't break-in the disc, warped the pressure plate by tightening it down wrong, didn't clean the parts w/ brake clean, and I can keep going on. By the way, this is a topic that belongs in gen-tech.
