Default BilletEmergency Brake Handle Install

I was wondering if anyone has had experience installing the Billet Emergency Brake Handle? Do you actually remove the stock handle or do you just put the new one over it? If you do remove it, how do you do so? Any help would be great.

I've only ever seen sleeves that cover the stock rubber handle.

Thats what I thought at first, but it comes with a chrome button to match the handle..and the only way to possibly get it on is to take the handle off

sure it's not just a button cover... put the button cover on the button then slide the main cover over the handle?
