Default You have got to be kidding me.

Ok my car started making this horrible squealing sound when i turned it off right? well i take it to my dealership and they fix the compressor and two pulleys...it starts doing it again. I take it back, they apologize, don't make me pay for it and give me a new compressor...well now its doing it again BUT not every time the car is turned off. it picks and chooses when it wants to squeal...usually when someone is close by and they can hear it and i feel embarrassed. So i take it back one last time and i tell them to hold the car for a while and look it over. fix the compressor and take care of anything else that will soon be a problem cuz its a long drive out there. i finally get a call from the tech and he says they can't find anything wrong with the car! no evidence of squealing, a problem with the compressor, or an idling problem i had mentioned to them. when i brought it home guess what? it squealed. what could it possibly be?

If they replaced the comprssor, that wouldn't be your problem again. Did they replace the belt? Also, is it a chirp-like sound or a squeal? A chirp-like sound is more an indication of the throwout bearing either being fine, being too tight/loose, or finally taking a dump on you.

well you would think it isn't the compressor but since they screwed up once already once, i wouldn't put it passed them. it is definitely a squeal. my a/c is working fine. i wonder if another pulley is loose. who knows. gotta take it back to them and see what happens

Before you do that, see if any pulleys are excessively difficult to turn. If you find one, that's your culprit.
