Anoyone know of an octane boost product that actually works. I have a 93 octane tune and get knock when using 92 octane fuel sometimes. I want to keep some handy.

 

NOS makes some octane booster thats pretty decent...

For the most part, all that crap is the same stuff with a different label.

 

That is kind of what I was thinking....just alcohol prolly.

Kemco makes a product called "Kemco Octane Booster".

$20.75 per quart, $125 for a case of 12 quarts.


12 ounces added to 10 gallons of gasoline will raise 93 octane to 96.5.

18 ounces added to 10 gallons of gasoline will raise 93 octane to 98.

This ain't kid stuff.

So, if you filled your tank with 15 gallons of 93 octane and added 28 ounces of the product, you have a tank full of 98 octane fuel.

Torco is the best in my book. I have used it a few times when i used the 150shot pills in my car, just so i would be safe form detonation. Give it a try i bet you will love it too.

I've also heard torco is the best when it comes to octane boost. I was going to buy some, but I found a gas station that has unleaded 95 and 100 octane.
