Default 4.6 Headers

I'm planning to get a set for my car and i pretty much know what brand i'm going to get and how much they sell for, the only thing i don't know is how hard is it to install and how much time it will take? i know the shops will charge a grip i'm scared to even call and find out. does anybody know what the shops charge for this work?

ALOT. it's a pain in the ***. You have to drop the front K member, which means your whole front suspension, mid pipe (Which is also a pain you will need extensions and swivle u joint things) swap the headders and gaskets (You probally wont need to swap gaskets) bold everything back in place (I reccomend getting locking headder bolts so you wont have to go through this again.) re install the front suspension and K member. and then get it aligned in about a week to let the springs settle. If you're looking to get some springs when the front suspension is dropped now is the time to do it

Longtubes are in the $600-800 labor range.I'll do it for less than that.
