Default Question For MustangTuning Techs and Sales

(SALES) I have bought alot of products from you guys. I have yet to see a tune-up kits? (i.e. spark plugs, rotor, distributor, rotor, filter charger kit,) Are you going to start selling them at all? This would be an awsome addition to the already wide variety or products you sell. Also, do you beat prices that are listed from other certified websites and/or stores if proof is shown? If so, this should be listed on the website to further sales growth.

(TECH) What is the recommended tune-up miles/years/months do you recommend we tune-up our vehicles? Also, have you had any feed back on how well Falken Grb FK451 tires perform. I bought 2 black FR500 (18x9) Wheels and plan on putting 245/35/18 tires for the front. Then when the (18x10) come out in late April, I plan on putting 285/35/18 tires on the back. By late April, I will have already purchased the bumbsteer kit, X2 ball joints, cast camber plates (4 bolt adj.), sport springs, and G-Force Strut brace. I plan on putting this all on myself and getting a front end alighned. Do you have any other recommendation on what else I would need? Also, are the pad Ford Racing Springs (C-Springs) good for city driving (8 miles back and forth to work) or would I be better of with sport springs? I will eventually by a beater truck for comuting, and my mustang will be a weekend car. Well, I appreciate as much feed back that you can give me.

(PROFILE) I am a Military Police Officer in Georgia on a military post in Savannah attached to 3rd Infantry Division. I drive a 2003 Mustang Gt (5-SPD).

P.S. When ever I order parts from you guys I always ask Chris to send me a mustangtuning.com decal, but he always forgets. I want a decal, so I can see how many people from the Forum's community are around Savannah. Well anyways thanks for you time and hope to get my decal on my next purch LOL thanks again. -----Military Police

My guess from an outsiders perspective. Selling tune-up kits would be hard for a performance website because it would be very hard to compete with everyones local auto zones or advance auto parts. They sell parts cheap because they can buy in such a large quantity for all the stores.

Ford has their recommended times/miles/etc for their tune-ups. I would stick with the Ford scheduled maintenance.

You can also fit a 285 on a 18 X 9 wheel also. I would go large than the 245 on the front. I have a feeling a 245 would look kinda small on a 9" wide wheen.

I would go 275 in the front and a 295 in the rear on the 18x10s or 275s all around if you have 18X9s front and rear.

275 35 18's fit great. if you have the money 295's will look better. and on the 10... at least 315.
