Default Time for new exhaust

I have the cat-back slp now. I like it and all, but I am looking to add a new system to the stang. Here is what I am looking for

Street legal ( catted mid-pip)
Deep, rumble.
As LOUD as I can go street legal.

I love my stangs loud, but not gonna risk the price of a ticket with no cats on this one.

So what do you have for me. I have been out of the scene for a bit now, so I need to refresh my memory.

Technically any mid-pipe is illegal even ones with cats. However, most states dont care or check.

If you want a different cat-back too you could probably trade someone for your SLP.

It really all boils down on how you want it to sound and how deep your pockets are.

You can get a MAC CB and Midpipe for less than $500 total. It will sound great but MAC quality to some is iffy.

You could also get full Bassani and spend a ton.

I have also heard good things about the MRT H pipe, its expensive but supposed to be top notch.

I have the Borla Stingers and am very happy with them. I have a MAC Catted X in my garage waiting install. We will see how she sounds.

How loud is your Stingers with the stock H pipe?

with OBD-II your emissions are legal if the check engine light doesnt come on when you install the pipes, thats why there is an o2 sensor before and after the cat. i have slp catted x and loud mouth cat back, and passed emissions on my last inspection.

I've got a Magnaflow catback with a Bassani x pipe and let me tell you, it is LOUD. Not annoyingly loud at idle, but screaming at WOT. I like that people hear me coming and usually get out of my way now :evil6:

How about an MRT catted H pipe. It would give your SLP Loudmouth an even deeper rumble. Thats the setup I want anyway.
