hey guys i'm looking to get a x-pipe with cats for my 04 gt.. just wandering what brands would fit ..? i have factory headers.. and slp loudmouth exhaust...

any mid pipe for 99-04 will deffinently fit. you can get midpipes from 96-98 but a minor hanger modifacation would be necessary. i have the SLP Catted X-Pipe and SLP LoudMouth 1's. great sound but it gets annoying at times. but overall its a great sound. 1 huge complaint i have is that the SLP X specifically hangs sooo freaking low. i have about 3 inches of clearance between the heat shield of the cat to the ground. it looks like i have long tube headers if you look at teh car from about 10 feet infront of it. i suggest getting a midpipe with a flat cat design (magnaflow) vs. a round cat design (SLP). my $.02

 

I previously had the SLP catted X and LM2's and I loved the sound but I had the same problem... a few weeks after I installed H&R supersports some road construction tore my midpipe apart. They hang WAY too low. I finally replaced it with an MRT h-pipe just yesterday and I kind of miss the sound of the X, it now sounds like it did with the stock mid but louder. I'm looking for some LM1 resonators now but that's personal preference. If I didn't have the ground clearance issue I'd probably stick with the SLP X.

 

I'd get the Magnaflow Catted X before I'd get anyother IMO.I had one on my GT and now the Cobra and the quality,fitment and sound is very hard to beat.Also the Magnaflow cat's are one of the best flowing around.
