Default t56 tranny

is a t56 from a camaro or viper interchangeable with a 94+ mustang? i know that the bellhousings are different, but is the actuall tranny part the same as the t56 for the cobras?

Input and output shafts are also different (different splines). Also, the ratios are different.

Yeah they are all spec'd different.
cts-v, vette, viper, cobra, camaro, ect..

well vette and camaro would be the same if equiped with the LS engine im assuming...

ive seen viper spec'd t56s go in mustangs.

you'll also need the correct tailshaft housing as well as a crossmember, speedo gear, and driveshaft yoke.

F-Body and Covette T-56's are different since the T56 for the Vette is a transaxle.
