I need a new exhaust system for my gt. I have considering going with magnaflow.. Does anyone have any recommendations other than SLP.. I am currently going to use my stock h-pipe. Later on might get BBK or Mac Headers and X pipe...

 

mustangexhaust.com has some good sound clips. i would recomend Stingers, Magnapacks, or Bassani SS.


if you get a bbk mid pipe, go with the h, the x sounds like crap. lol

 

Flowmaster American Thunder, despite the negative feedback about the drone. I have it and I can say it ain't that bad. Hell, my dad said it sucked compared to Trush mufflers which is much louder.

 

I'd listen to some of the sound clips and figure out what kind of sound your looking for and then go for it. I've had magnaflow on two of my stangs and love the way it sounds. It's a very mild sounding exhaust that will scream when really on it.

 

nothing is as bad as slp loudmouth 1s and a catted mid pipe. trust me

Blown out Thrush mufflers w/ Hooker headers and no cats on a Dodge 440 is even worse, hence why I threw that thing in w/ my dad.

 

I'll go ahead and listen to the sound clips and see which sounds good..Thanks everyone...
