4r70w/ AODE shifter???

Default 4r70w/ AODE shifter???

Hi i have a 97gt auto with transgo shift kit. i want an old school shifter for it but i do NOT want or care for the B&M hammer shifter....does anybody know of any other that will fit or if i can get a custom one installed....thanks please help me out!

There is/was a T-bone typed auto shift handle that was pretty mean looking.

It had a slot where you can keep the o/d button if you have it. Also can get it polished or brushed aluminum, and with a "pony" logo engraved on it, plain, GT, or what not...

I cant remember where from though.

yeah i know exactly what your talking about and yeah i had it book marked in my internet about a year ago and now that page doesnt exsist..but yeah thats not what im looking for....

Check out UPR. I have their shifter with the overdrive button relocater

ahh yeah im looking for an actual shifter (similar to what the B&M hammer shifter looks like) not a shift **** and o/d relocator.

They have similar things like that too.

Also are you looking for the mechanism and the shifter which i'm getting the imppression of. Do you not like the way the B&M looks or how it performs?

Off topic- I suggest you remove that trans go before you need to invest in a new tranny.

iv had it for years and i love it....no problems at all. They only cause problems if you do not get it installed by a trans specialist. The reason for the problems is the worn out bands..the most common one is overdrive. besides i would never want to take it out i love cherping the tires chaning into 2nd

Ok, I dont know what Im talking about, sorry. Who ever installed it doesnt know much about the 4R70W's.

Why dont you go ask Jerry, Darrin, Alan, Matt Hill, or Johnny Langton about that shift kit.
