To purchase a GT mustang hood... where?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but it seemed like an alright place, i just joined.

Im looking to purchase a GT mustang hood for my V6 stang and im not sure where i can find one, ive looked around on alot of websites, including this one which ive bought a couple things from and i still cant find it :angry3:

So your saying i can just buy the hood scoop? and im guessing cut out the area where it shall go on? and than attach it to my exisiting hood?

I dont think you need to do any cutting. the only difference between the V6 and V8 hood is the scoop on it. The scoop is a seperate piece, it just attaches to the top of the hood and a new grill insert goes in.
You can check Ebay, they nomally have dozens of hood scoops for sale cheap, plus you can probably get one that is painted.
Then you can check out different mustang sites and probably find a good grill to go into it.

you can get the scoop and put on and get painted, however you will have to drill holes in your hood to screw in the conectors. or you could buy the one I have. I converted to MACH shaker. Mine is a 2001 mustang GT hood perfect condition and has the scoop. let me know, and i can see about getting it to you. if you buy from ford it is around a min of 530.00.
