Question Mach 1 Grille Delete

yes i went here https://mustangboards.com/search.php before i posted this thread.

I was reading the other threads and noticed that everyone seemed to have a similar problem of the bottom part not being flush against the bumper and the all went different ways about fixing it. i read that some of the kits came with double sided tape and some even came with clips and etc.

I just ordered mine and should be in Dec 7th and was wondering if you had any suggestions on the issue. or if anyone knew what the kit came with from american muscle to fix the problem.

thanks,

My grill delete fit perfect when I ordered it. Sat flush everywhere. Although, I had a little fender bender and had to replace the front bumper and then it didn't sit flush aroung the part right under the horse (the common area everyone has problems with. I just doubled or tripled up on some double sided tape. Sits flush now, haven't had any problems with it. Its an easy fix.

i used some 3M velcro and stuck one piece to the bumper and one to the grill delete and it fits 100% perfect now.

It's not supposed to be flush on the bumper.Only part that is supposed to be flush is on the fender well's.
