Default Ignition/T-5

I just figured out that this post probably belongs in a different forum. But here it is anyway:

I have a 1966 Mustang w/ 302, 4 bbl, and automatic tranny. I want to install an electronic ignition. Can anyone recommend the components I'd need and explain how challenging it would be to do the installation myself?

If you have any advice on installing a T-5 tranny, I’d appreciate it.

wrong forum power adders is for nitrous etc...

As for the ignition upgrade they have ones that replace the entire distributor or you can upgrade the electronics inside the top of it. Me i would just upgrade to a new style distributor. Its not very hard to do if you have basic wiring knowledge and can put the engine at top dead center and make where the rotor is pointing then removei ti and place the new one with the rotor pointing in the same way you go it.
