Okay I'm about to order some Bassani mid length headers, but first I want to know if they will fit on my 04 Auto GT. I already have a Bassani O/R X pipe.

 

If you have Bassani mid, I don't see why not. Is there an extension part on the x-pipe that you can take off to fit the mid length headers???? 'Cuz you'll need to do that.

alright thx MattJ..and yes whitethunder the Bassani mid-pipes are modular, and the bassani headers will come with smaller pipes to connect to the x-pipe.

Yeah bassani has individual tubes which come into a collector. Make sure you tighten down all the bolts because that setup is pretty good for causing exhaust leaks. Dont be scared to use exhaust gaskets.

 

your stock length mid pipe will have to be shortened to accomodate mid-lengths or you'll have to use the bassani x pipe for mid-length headers. Shorties bolt up to stock pipes but mid's are like long tubes that just aren't that extra foot long.
