Default Headers a MUST with Cams?

Well...I do plan on getting cammed. Wether its VT stage 2's or COMP cams XE's....

WOuld it be a MUST to have aftermarket headers if you r cammed? If i did get headers, they would be the shorty style. Thats why I am wondering if its even worth getting aftermarket headers as they say Shorties provide no barely any HP gain over stock headers...I would be looking at either JBA or BBK headerz....

also..which cam is better for a N/A stang?

I prefer VT over Comp any day because Comp has had so many PTV issues with a certain cam. Headers ARE NOT required to run cams, but other mods are such as gears and converter if you're auto. Just dont expect as much of a gain compared to a car with LT's.

It's not required, but if you get long tubes, you'll get the max power while shorties will give you more power than the cast iron manifolds but it won't beat long tubes. From what I read, the only PTV issues I heard of w/ Comp Cams are only w/ their XE272 cams so if you are going for the two lower ones, you should be fine.
