no some places use crappy gas. thats why you always pay a little more at chevron or shell and mom and pop places always have the lowest prices.

i only buy gas from sonoco...

i notice a difference between wawa gas and sunoco... i also notice a price difference too...

sure... all the crude oil comes from the same place... the ground...

BUT i'm pretty sure its safe different companies use different processes to make it and have they're own way going from crude oil to gasoline...

and sunoco is the official fuel of nascar! lol

also... your car is made to run on 87 octane... 89 or so is ok I suppose is oky doky...

If you reprogram yer car or change the timing you run different octane level fuel...

For example... My timing is INCREASED to compensate for the slower burning 93 octane gas... which squeezes a few free ponies outa her...

all gas everywhere is made the same way in the saem refineries. the big difference in brand is the additives they use. for example i refuse to run exxon, too much additive, runs like crap, and burns fast.

i like sonoco, and citco is ok, and bp runs great but is pricey.

shell runs great cause of all the cleaners in the v-power, same as chevron, but both tend to burn pretty quick because of all the additives.

mom and pop places have just as good gas, but almost no additives in it, thats why its cheaper.

also i try and aviod any run down looking stations, cause those big underground tanks are just that, big *** metal tanks under ground, they will get rust and crude in um. even if im completly wrong i'd like to think that a newer cleaner gas station would of had there tank drained for the construction and cleaned out some time in the past 10 years, reduceing the amount of straight up crap in my gas tank. i may just be a lil paraniod, but when u change your fuel filter, let some of the gas pour out of it from the tank side and then tell me those big tanks are clean.
